Biofuel Refineries Ltd was formed in 2008 to offer an innovative and progressive solution to recycling UK’s waste cooking oils
The founding members of BRL have a diverse background ranging from corporate consulting to plastics recycling to military air traffic control. Their idea was to create a company in the renewable energy sector with the aim of helping reduce greenhouse gases and contribute to the climate change movement.
Converting waste cooking oils into biodiesel was the perfect opportunity. Based in the scenic Buckinghamshire town of High Wycombe, BRL has since been producing high quality renewable biodiesel using Green Fuels’ flagship Fuelmatic biodiesel processors designed and built entirely in the UK.
Drawing on their experience and skills, the directors have developed BRL into one of the leading biodiesel producers in the south of England. The focus on quality and customer service has resulted in a loyal and satisfied customer base.
